We packed up our car, Tracy Chapman, to spend the next three weeks at the Marble House residency! This place is amazing and huge and we were immediately fantasizing of throwing a big party here lol! But we will be hunkering down and focusing on developing recipes, exploring the land, and preparing for our farm-to-table dinner here at Marble House on 10/24!

#PalestineIsInTheMuseum my coworkers and I were fired on 9/4/24 for wearing our keffiyeh.
The leadership of the Noguchi Museum fired us because they did not to see any sign of Palestinian culture or solidarity in front of them. Too bad the museum is full of them. Like this piece with a key and a kite.
Palestine is everywhere and Palestine is definitely a museum with multiple pieces on view dedicated to the mass killing of Japanese people with atomic weapons, and to the internment of Japanese American people.
The keffiyeh ban was leadership attempting to make this place a-political. But the Museum is political.
Especially the Noguchi museum—dedicated to a man who made himself a political prisoner in solidarity with his oppressed Japanese American brothers and sisters.
