When I began casting and crewing for Cry Baby Cry, I often spoke about the film and asked the women I was meeting whether they had experienced or knew someone who had experienced — stealthing.
To my surprise, my lead Natasha had experienced it herself.
It was heartbreaking to hear. But also a profound reminder of why this film needed to be made.
