I know. I know. It’s an insurmountable task. We don’t know what to do or where to begin. But that doesn’t mean we should sit back and do nothing. Come on pp. It has to begin somewhere. Legislation has a huge impact on gun violence. Lord knows I love my country, but I think we need to look outside of our borders to find examples of what really works, and do it.

Sweet sweet girl. Yesterday you turned two years old. My heart can hardly take it. You’ve had a huuuuge year. You began as a baby and now- you’re a big girl with big ideas and thoughts. So, so many changes. You grew beautiful coppery golden curls, started sleeping through the night, walking (I think you did it to impress your cousins Finn and Liam) running, talking, singing and playing guitar. You even wrote your first song which daddy and I quickly recorded so we wouldn’t forget. You sat quietly in my arms while an F3 tornado slammed our house and destroyed our neighborhood. You only cried for a moment when your ears popped then ultimately made the most of it by learning to mimic the sound of the chainsaws that dominated your audio landscape for the following months/year. “Buzzzzzz” You’re currently living through a worldwide pandemic unlike anything we’ve seen. One positive is the extra time with daddy since he can’t tour.... you’ve become a total daddy’s girl. ♥️ Instead of having friends to play with, other than your quarantine crew of family and doggies, you’ve really taken to gardening. You love all of your flowers and tomatoes. You’ve also really gotten in touch with your artistic side by drawing, coloring and painting. You like to dictate to us what we should draw too. “Mommy- draw a snake. Draw a walrus!!” You’ve been taking long nature walks on the farm with mommy, daddy, Gaga and all of the dogs. (At the moment, we have Beta (15+), senora (your rescue from nov 2019), Solo (5), Ellie and Neisha (Grammies Pomeranians) and We’re puppy sitting auntie Terra’s shepherd Cu. You love him and he’s extra protective of you!!). Did I mention the political insanity of this year? You’ll read about it in the history books I’m sure. Best that you’ve been happily oblivious to it. :))).
