Who doesn’t love a mermaid!
This beauty's big day finally arrived.
Doesn't she look stunning?
This Mermaid style suits her and her dress completely.
I'll post professional photos when I get them!
I really can't wait to show you Charlotte in her stunning dress, and the rest of the bridal party.
This style is a very romantic, loose, flowing, glorious bridal style with a touch of boho thrown in.
It is a super secure style due to use of lots of elastics and grips which are all well hidden.
Completed with just the right amount of gypsophila.
Charlotte has enough hair for about five people (slightly jealous!), so it was easy to create all of this texture using her own hair.
Beware though - This is a very lengthy style.
Prep alone takes over an hour, before styling even commences, so if you’re wanting something like this, be prepared for that.
But the best things are worth waiting for, aren’t they?
Myself and @amielcolley from @locks_of_luxe had a brilliant morning styling 11 for this bridal party, the time just flew by.

I allocate more time for the bride obviously.
So for a bridesmaid, you really need to be looking at simpler and quicker styles, as it just isn't feasible to create what is essentially a bridal style if you're not the bride.

This lovely bridesmaid wanted a boho half up with detail, so pulled out side fishtail braids were added and an alterative braid down the back - looks much better than a standard braid imo!
I used the twist wrap technique to create the best waves, and to make the most of her hair.
I dress each row of waves as I go, I don’t curl it all then brush through as this just loses so much volume.
I find that taking the time to do this not only ensures longevity, but really gives so much more volume to a style.
So what did we get?...
✔️ Lots of lovely texture through the crown
✔️ Those to-die-for waves!
✔️ Pulled out fishtail braids and an alternative braid for added interest
✔️ A super happy bridesmaid with a style that will last all day / night long
✔️ Boho beauty all the way!

18” 150g of grade 8A European Remy human hair in shade Chestnut, a really lovely warm mid-brown.
Lifespan of 12-18 months with correct aftercare and maintenance.
I’ve been doing extensions for eight years now, but rarely post them - I will post more!
This is the 1st refit for this beauty and she’s looking after them very well.
Her natural hair and extensions are both in fabulous condition, and if she keeps looking after them like this, she'll get a very long time out of them.

A beautiful, light and airy boho bun for this gorgeous bride to be.
Laura has very fine hair, but we managed lots of lovely volume and texture without any padding or the need for extensions.
I created a brand new way to style a textured bun for fine hair, and I'm really happy with the results.

Leah looked absolutely gorgeous with her mass of gorgeous hair in this mermaid style - all her own hair, no extensions needed!
This style really suited Leah's exquisite dress. The back couldn't be covered, that would be sacrilege!
The photos to follow will show you this.
This style is also super secure, as there are anchor points all the way down, it isn't going anywhere!
