Help us find the pitch. Through The Bench Project, we’re looking for two football fields in Yogyakarta to receive benches developed together with @nata.practice and @paste_lab . We invite you to be part of the process. If you know a field that could benefit from this project, share your recommendation in the comment section or send us a DM. Let’s support the spaces where the game continues to live every day.

We’re proud to introduce The Bench Project, a collaborative initiative with @nata.practice and @paste_lab . We’re building benches for selected football fields in Yogyakarta, simple shared spaces where players, supporters, and anyone around the game can sit, gather, and stay connected to it. Designed by Nata Practice and produced by Paste Lab using materials developed from waste, each bench carries the spirit of inclusivity at the heart of Open Play. This is our way of giving back to the community and supporting the game where it lives every day. Play your part. Slide right to see how you can support the project. For questions or inquiries, feel free to send us a DM.

Dear bookworm, we’re pleased to introduce Book Your Shelf 01, a collaboration with @nata.practice . What began as an unplanned conversation slowly grew into a meeting point between two disciplines, our work as a publishing house and Nata’s spatial thinking. Whatever fills your reading life, from academic journals to novels, this bookshelf is designed to hold it all. It creates a space where books can be stored with care while still being displayed as objects worth seeing. The content remains preserved, yet the design of each title can still breathe on the shelf. More than simply storing books, the piece adapts to the rhythm of your space and the way you live with your collection. A quiet structure that supports the habit of keeping books close. Its position can also be rotated, allowing the shelf to shift and respond to different spatial needs and arrangements. Produced in limited quantities. Pre-order is open until March 15. Full details and orders are available through the link in bio.

After an unintentional conversation, we found ourselves preparing something with @nata.practice , a project where our disciplines intersect. An assembly is coming soon.

In the second quarter of 2025, we aimed to bring the ideas outlined in our existing working drawings to life. This year, at the moment of its emergence, after extensive product research and development in the workshop our initial prototype was first offered to a colleague, who was not only interested in it but also encouraged us to place confidence in the project. This first bench is understood not merely as a product, but as a means of translating ideas and sketches beyond the realm of thought into material form. We express our sincere gratitude to @tbh.coffeeroaster for their generosity in providing the space and support that enabled us to initiate this project. Photo by @rangkaelangit
