What a beaut 😍 The boulder sits on its own pedestal, overlooking the canyon. The location was so dreamy, it was almost sad that I wouldn't get to have sessions projecting there.
American Exotica is rightly a classic, climbing a clean line up the middle of this mega face, with unique beta and a satisfying finish!

So cool to climb with and get to know the really powerful @nat.monkey . Although it was 30 degrees and 80%+ humidity, we were able to enjoy a great day out in nature and climbing some of the best lines in HK!

Located in @sunset_forest_hkclimbing , Black fire is a V9 on the sunfire block. It starts down low on a large jug but the next hold requires a really awkward and powerful move upwards towards a decent crimp which it is angled ever so awkwardly and sits slightly too far from the start holds to hold very solidly. After this is the main crux which requires either a very tumultuous high heel or a crazy Gaston beta, as demonstrated in the photos. From there, is a large move left and then a spicy top out. You can imagine how hard it was to climb in this heat but crazy people made it out anyways haha
The last few photos were from another day when @nat.monkey got really close and personal with some monkeys (I didn't now where else to post them so included it here lol!)

It’s funny that this video has me posting again after a long hiatus, because this edit is all for me.
With its long peaceful wind up and camera angle offering little beta, it's really not made for social media.
Still, the lighting was too pretty not to post.
This vid captures the long peaceful dreamy solo sessions I got used to on my two month long solo trip to Red Rocks.
Open air, a view reaching far across the flat desert, lights from the strip on the horizon, starry sky above.
Absolute stillness & silence except for a gentle breeze and a song if I'm playing one.
Alone with a boulder I've fallen in love with and …enough pads.

I almost walked away from this one because I couldn’t wait to pull moves on Wet Dreams Right. I’m glad it went down on the last try (despite the horrendous top out 🙈)!

Very underrated boulder
(I’m ready for the groans of protest that will come from my saying that 😂)
Still digesting everything that happened on my trip to Squamish in August/September, but here is a first glimpse.
This is One Zen, it spat me off on the same move every session but I’m psyched to go back and try again next time.
