Today marks the completion of another semester for our students. For some, the journey continues into the summer and fall. For others, tomorrow’s commencement ceremony celebrates the culmination of years of study, creativity, and growth as they cross the stage into their next chapter. Kirsten Wilson is the Artistic Director, founder, and visionary of Motus Theater, a narrative artist, master teacher of autobiographical monologue work, and editor of the Motus Monologues and Shoebox Stories podcasts. A Naropa MFA alum, she has created award-winning multimedia performances exploring history through the lens of race and class and is known for creating spaces of courageous empathy and civic hospitality. Her work has been featured by NPR, Theater Magazine, The Washington Post, and USA Today.

Tomorrow! Join Naropa University’s second-year Graduate Art Therapy students as they present their collaborative exhibition, Sacred Unraveling.
This showcase brings together the sustained work of sixteen emerging art therapists, tracing their individual journeys of transformation and “unraveling” over the course of the semester. Through a diverse range of mediums, each artist presents deeply personal work that reflects their unique perspective and process. The opening reception is from 6–9 PM on Friday, May 1st at Naropa University’s Nalanda Galleries.
