The final journey continued to the Temple of Horus in Edfu, sailing to Kom Ombo Temple, laughing and dancing through a ghalabieh night on board, and gliding by boat to the timeless beauty of Philae Temple in Aswan.
And to close this unforgettable journey, dinner was at the legendary Old Cataract Hotel where Agatha Christie once put pen to paper and brought Death on the Nile to life.
This trip was more beautiful than I could have imagined.
Full of history, magic, laughter, and quiet moments that stay with you.
So grateful for every second, every place, and every soul who shared it with me 🤍✨
A big thank you to @joleskow for organising every detail of this adventure with such care, calm, and perfection. Trips like this don’t just happen… they’re created by someone who truly gives their heart to it. ❤️
Death on the Nile.
The birthday dinner was inspired by Agatha Christie’s mystery “Death on the Nile”, fully scripted and flawlessly chaotic.
Guests arrived in tuxedos and long gowns, straight out of the film, ready for their roles — characters assigned, secrets held close, cameras rolling.
Dinner came first.
The murder came next.
Scripts were written, cameras rolling, motives revealed.
Every guest played their part — and no one was innocent.
Except my legendary father, who stepped into the role of Mr. Poirot and interrogated every suspect until the killer was found 🕯️🔍✨
Cairo!! Standing in the presence of thousands of years of history felt like the perfect place to welcome the first chapter of my 50 Birthday.
Surrounded by timeless beauty, Pyramids, the new Egyptian grand Museum, the magic, wonders, unforgettable moments and some of my favourite people.
Next stop: Luxor
