Only the amount of matcha changes.
Basic (3g) — smooth, balanced, easy to sip

Making matcha at home doesn’t have to be complicated 🍵
If you’ve been wanting to try but didn’t know where to start, this is all you need.
Start with 1½ tsps matcha (don’t skip sifting, it makes a difference), add 2 tbsps hot water, and whisk in a gentle zig-zag motion until smooth and lightly frothy.
Fill a glass with ice, add 4 oz milk, then slowly pour your matcha over.
And just like that, you’ve made your first matcha latte.

Choose your matcha latte shade 🎨
From soft, milky greens to deep, bold hues, each “shade” reflects a different matcha strength and experience.
A lighter shade gives you that gentle, creamy sip that’s easy and comforting.
Go a little deeper and you’ll get a fuller, creamier balance.
Turn it up and the matcha starts to come through with it being richer, bolder, more energizing.
And at the deepest end? Thick, intense, almost dessert-like.
Same amount of milk, same amount of water, just different amounts of matcha 💚
If your matcha tastes more like diluted milk… we need to fix your ratios.
Here’s the golden ratio we use:
4g matcha
15ml water (make a paste first)
25ml more water
4g sweetener
120ml milk
This is how you get a richer, creamier matcha where you can actually taste the matcha, not just the milk.
