Watch me become a @pilatesfusion.fr instructor ❤️🔥
Pilates Fusion is a 60-minute hybrid workout built around the art of movement, drawing inspiration from Pilates, Yoga, Floor Barre, and functional training.
Natural movements, dance, and cardiovascular work merge with a powerful playlist, during the workout we follow a choreography (we call this a flow) that boosts metabolism, improves posture, and builds a strong, balanced body.
Pilates Fusion believes in the richness of free-body movement, without constraints, free, agile, and mobile. A philosophy I can truly embrace and want to bring to Belgium 🇧🇪 ✨
Do you want to try this out?
Great! I am looking for volunteers that would love to explore this kind of workout. I will be needing students for practice. I will organise try-out classes, for myself to become better, and for people who would like to discover what this feels like.
These classes will be completely free of charge, as I am not certified yet (yes, you help me in becoming that), and these will not include the whole flow. Although, I promise you'll get a wonderful warm-up, some good legs and balance training, abs and core, and planks and shoulders will be felt ⚡️
PS. These try-outs will be organised in Ghent.
Send me a DM with your contacts. Looking forward. 😍

"To enjoy the long days in the summer, we must embrace the darkness during the winter."
Some say it's the longest night or darkest day of the year, and saying it like that, gives it quite some heaviness. I rather see it as the day we welcome the light back into our lives. 🌅
I had a wonderful conversation about this in Norway, where I really wondered how they were coping with the winter. All of them were saying it was no joke, but one of them looked at it from a very open point of view, which I quoted above. And ever since, that really stuck with me.
The blessing of living in the Northern hemisphere is that we get to live in seasons, and in longer days during the summer as well. The way of looking at things can really shift your perspective and therefore rewire your brain. I would lie if I would say that the darkness is not slowly creeping in, but at least it's not feeling so tense as before.
I read that the feeling of wonder is one of the best cures against low-grade inflammation, and apart from all the outdoorsy nature activities, I think that the spectacular sunsets might be a key to the lived happiness in Scandinavia.
