WHAT’S THE STORY BEHIND NIGHTVIEW?
Here is where it started.
Fear has always been part of my story.
Ever since I was a child, I was afraid of so many things that it almost felt ridiculous.
Fear followed me everywhere. So I decided to do something about it.
I started carrying a small sketch book with me. Everywhere. Whenever I found myself in a situation that scared me, I would draw it. I drew myself inside it, exaggerating it, ridiculing it, reshaping it, changing the narrative.
This collection was born from that process.
From transforming fear into form.
There is a part two guys
Sharing some more about this process soon 💗
THIS WAS NIGHTVIEW
Just in time for spooky season!! 👀
I got the opportunity to fill a space during Hasselt Fashion & Design
a whole room dedicated to my new collection Nightview.
A project about fears and finding the absurdity in what scares us.
Thank you so much to everyone who came to see it.
It was honestly overwhelming (in the best possible way.)
A big big big thank you 🙏

HOW TO START A BRAND WITH ZERO PLANNING SKILLS
Special thanks to @flandersdistrictofcreativity Mentortrack for a whole year of guidance and to @sanderbosofficial for helping us build these foundations 💕
Details from this last look.
The set is inspired by classic striped pajamas, reimagined in pink denim. The stripes are not printed but constructed from loose ribbons that move freely with the body.
Over this, a denim peignoir is layered, created from leftover denim scraps and pieced together into a new shape and print
The look is finished with a small handbag, shaped like a tiny bed 💤

To finish of this little video series:
Here is our LAST CHAPTER
So throughout the collection, I used sleepwear as a recurring reference point.
You can recognize striped pajamas and robe-like silhouettes. I also worked a lot with teddy bears but instead of leaving them as they are, I gave them my face. The face of the scared little girl I drew.
The entire collection includes glow-in-the-dark elements. As a child, glow-in-the-dark star were an important source of comfort for me. When the lights went out and the room completely changed, those small glowing shapes felt like a roadmap.
I wanted to bring that same feeling into this collection. The idea of moving between night and day, light and darkness.
Some prints glow in the dark. Certain stitchings are made with glow-in-the-dark embroidery. I tried to apply this element to every silhouette in a different way.
