Last week, President Trump and I helped secure life-changing brain surgery for a young woman denied coverage. The VERY NEXT DAY - we freed another young woman stuck in a foreign prison cell over a very minor passport issue.
This is my job. and this is what President Trump is focused on too.
To every man and woman who has worn the uniform of the United States, you carried the weight so the rest of us could live free.

A career criminal murdered Iryna Zarutska.
Three weeks before, a judge ordered a mental competency evaluation. Nothing was done. He has now been found incompetent to stand trial in both state and federal courts.
Incompetent to stand trial does not mean innocent. It does not mean justice. It means Iryna’s family is left without answers, without accountability, and without closure.

Animal cruelty is a serious crime and deserves serious consequences.
As governor, I will create South Carolina's first Animal Abuse Registry - publicly accessible, tracking convicted abusers statewide so they cannot simply move counties and abuse again.
