Meet DJ Fancy Nancy 💃✨
Get ready for the flow, the feeling, and a serious dose of playful energy. My sound is a love letter to my travels through Colombia and Brazil. A steaming blend of organic rhythms, Latin & Afro heat, Techno, Psytrance and more..
I call my set ‘Saudade’. It’s a Portuguese word that’s hard to translate, but easy to feel: a deep, nostalgic longing for something beautiful that is absent, yet filled with the joy of having experienced it.
My promise?
• Hips don’t lie: We’re moving our hips from deep, flowing grooves to high-energy.
• Saudade: Nostalgic elements and melodies that touch the heart while the beat grounds the feet.
• Total Freedom: A space to shake it all off, drop out of the mind, and feel the natural high.
• Your face hit that ‘stankface’ when the bass drops 😏

✨ Meet Nancy ✨
Mijn ultieme doel is positiviteit en liefde te verspreiden, om zo de wereld een stukje mooier te maken🤍
Mijn naam is Nancy Stuivenberg.
Al zolang ik me kan herinneren ben ik gefascineerd door ritmes in muziek, dans en beweging.
Met een achtergrond in streetdance en dancehall begon ik in 2013 met het geven van freestyle choreografie-danslessen.
In de jaren daarna verbreedde mijn danspad zich naar partnerdansen zoals salsa, bachata, kizomba en zouk.
Deze fascinatie bracht me op een bijzondere solo reis naar Zuid Amerika.
Alles wat op mijn pad kwam probeerde ik uit tijdens deze ontdekkingsreis. Zo dook ik oa in stijlen als Salsa Caleña, Afro Colombiano/Brasileiro, Champeta, Contact improv en Forró.
Ook volgde ik een Yoga teacher training in Palomino, Colombia. Met blote voeten in het zand, leerde ik mezelf echt vrij voelen. Nooit zat ik lekkerder in mijn vel, zelfexpressie maakt mij simpelweg intens gelukkig. 💃🏼
Tijdens mijn reis ontmoette ik mijn huidige vriend, die ik mee heb genomen naar Nederland inclusief onze baby in mijn buik.
Tijdens mijn zwangerschap richtte ik Ritmo Flow op: een les- en eventorganisatie waarin yoga en dans samenvloeien en uitnodigen tot intuïtieve beweging en flow.
Daarnaast ben ik betrokken bij Zouk Enschede. Zouk is een dansstijl die voor mij voelt als water: meebewegen, verzachten en vertrouwen.
Ondertussen ben ik trotse moeder van Mateo, en heb ik meer motivatie dan ooit om toffe ruimtes te creëren waar mensen zichzelf mogen zijn.
Ik kijk ernaar uit om nieuwe mensen te ontmoeten en plekken te creëren waar iedereen zich veilig, welkom en vrij voelt om op zijn of haar eigen manier te bewegen.
