Trying this new way of prototyping where I make almost a caricature or fake version of the idea first. For example, what would I do if I was 7 years old and barely had any tools. It has kind of a cleansing and satisfying effect that is difficult to describe, kinda like making a sacrifice to muses or some shit like that.
So many DIY EBow rabbit holes online with most paths leading to madness and piles of misleading or unhelpful information. I finally got one working courtesy of Ralf Schreiber's excellent guide (Google it).
I've made a couple tweaks so far experimenting with off-the-shelf parts that are easier to find in the US these days.

I was hooked on Greek mythology as a kid, but never anticipated that I would someday meet @when_ulysses himself in Buffalo of all places along with some other mythology-tweaked individuals. I made this for Ulysses as a repair kit for his art or life or something after he finished grad school.
Well it's only been a few years since then and now he's providing a vital resource and hang spot for artists, musicians, poets, researchers and weirdos through his instigation/curation of events at the SALON series at @fitz_books_and_waffles .
