If you were ever interested in trying out anamorphic lenses head to them on a Wednesday. Get a feel for that 2x or 1.5x anamorphic goodness with their helpful staff.
Orion lenses surprised me with how sharp their lenses are. Beautiful separation with the subject and background even at t5.6.
Their mercury lenses I’ll test the next time I’m there, 1.5x squeeze but it’s substantially smaller than the orions making it a great option for smaller setups/nimble footprint.
PS. They have the prototype lens that was used in the movie The Creator.
