Part two of our road trip this September took us to Nakusp. This beautiful small town tucked away in the West Kootenay is 10/10 for outdoor activities (I would definitely recommend to a friend!).
We biked everyday, put some solid pedals in, had a great time progressing on drops, and came away feeling stoked and strong on the bike 💪🏼
If you’re into biking, camping and lake time, this one is for you 🍂🚲⛰️ Maybe this should be your sign to go on a new adventure and break down some boundaries!

Although usually known for its hot springs, I decided to skip those and go for a walk instead! I wanted to soak in the stunning views of the Arrow lakes and surrounding mountain ranges before making my way to 📍Halfway Hot Springs for more off the beaten path feels! 🥰🙌🏼
Maybe I got lucky with timing or maybe this little gem of a town is as quiet and quaint as it seems year round. Either way, it is a beauty stop for a one nighter and a long walk before hitting the road again!
*fun fact-the oldest continuously operating hotel in BC, Built in 1892, is here in Nakusp! 🏨 The Leland Hotel…and from what I could tell, a bikers stop over haven and I’m willing to bet…haunted 😉”

where I enjoyed the best burger, at the adjoining pub, of the entire weekend roadie! 🤤 Worth the splurge for that blue cheese burger and the best damn sweet potato fries I have ever had anywhere!! Yuuuum!!
