Esna Temple and Valley of the Kings tomb of Seti, so much labour of love and devotion. How has this vivid colour lasted so long?

Going slow down the Nile River to Kom Ombo Temple and finishing the day with an Egyptian bbq and dancing to local Nubian and Arabic music - bliss!

Photos from the class room of ‘The Art of Islamic Patterns’ Cairo, situated in the courtyard of Bayt Yakan a 15 century house in old Cairo. This was an intense 5 days of site visits and workshops with a fabulous group from all over the world… finishing on Easter Sunday with Australian Easter eggs that I was strong enough not to eat before the event.

A few artworks from the Biennale of Sydney at Naala Badu and Naala Nura. So many culturally specific, poetic works—and a few that we’re not allowed to photograph… which means you’ll just have to go see them yourself!
