We met a year ago on the day of her birthday. She was singing so beautifully. I had never heard anything like it. Later she asked me to take photos of her new jewellery collection. I told her there are two ways to do it: either on a white background with a focus on the pieces, or on people wearing them, with a focus on feelings and story. My heart was in the second one. She said yes. And that’s how everything started to unfold.
Now, a year later, I’m finally posting these beautiful photos in deep blue, Egyptian blue: like water, like flow.
In the past 12 months we sang mantras together, lay on the floor dreaming about the future, shared stories about falling in love and breaking up, longing for stability, and reaching for what we truly want.
One year felt like a whole life.
