Happy Birthday to the absolute legend that is Sir David Attenborough!
I met him at a book signing (some big hardback BBC thing I could hide behind) when I was a child and I was so shy at asking him for a signature, but managed to gabble the words out somehow! As you'd expect, he was just the nicest gentleman to encounter, and so extra kind to the shy boy across the table that I never forgot it.
And I am currently reading this one: Life On Air, which I picked up last year from @theopenbookrichmond and is also signed!

My wife and I went away for some "me and you time" over Easter but it ended up being some Me and Yul time really.
When I was a TV presenter, make-up artists used to scurry in and powder my head during ad breaks. Yul would have been like, LET ME SHINE!

Itās very strange, but I remembered this morning that before Iād read about the passing of the legendary Robert Duvall last night, a scene he played that Iād always loved had popped into my head with no explanation as to the poignant timing.
It was from the criminally under-appreciated Western #OpenRange where Duvall and @kevincostner share a beautifully funny scene revealing that Boss Spearmanās name is āBlue Bonnet.ā Costnerās reaction is glorious and Robert Duvallās delivery and little looks to and fro werenāt the obvious choices; thus his genius is highlighted.
Rest well Mr Duvall.

Second time visiting the #LeeMiller exhibition @tate today, and I absolutely love this portrait of her by Man Ray. #turnerandconstable was wonderfully curated too; loved seeing Constable's sketching chair! I value my Tate membership card over everything else in my wallet. A great distraction in the current climate of chaos, derangement and despotism coming from our orange, drunk and uncomfortably 'handsy Uncle' across the Atlantic.
