Meeting of Styles Finland is happening 5-7.6.2026 at graffiti playground Wasa Graffitilandia in Vaasa, Finland.
Meet the artists:
NADE (Finland)
“NADE is a graffiti writer active since the 1990s. He represents crews like TU (London) and BMK (NYC).
His wild style is a continuation to the graffiti he did in the 1990’s. He focuses on lettering and traditional graffiti techniques.“

Hip-hop brought me into graffiti, and the music is in my blood. So it’s nice to make this unplanned feature in a @stepapalupa clip for a new track from last autumn. We all know that writers come from a variety of backgrounds, interests and music tastes. Yet, I never felt that it’s 100% accurate to say that “people come to graff from all walks of life”, but there are definitely people with peculiar backgrounds in graffiti. ✊✊

Is it time spent or time invested? Leta look back some 30 years old (or so) stuff.
1 set, Tampere, railway station
2 set, Nekala. Old stomping grounds. I was local to this neighborhood and went to school here for 6 years. In this picture there’s two different generations of Finland writers. Air who started in the 80s and the rest of us who started in the 90s. I don’t think none of us could envisaged back then how graffiti would be in 2026. Graffiti has branched out into incredible versatile letter based art, without losing its core value in vandalism. Commissions are given to graffiti projects, and are no longer only for those who paint the prettiest flowers. Graffiti is no longer just something to make a street art exhibition more credible or sexy. Graffiti is simply more appealing to many. Graffiti is seen increasingly more youthful, dynamic and energetic. Image that many cities, and even bloodsucking corporations want to portray in order to appeal to younger consumers, and future big spenders.
Let’s celebrate our culture and make the most of it! ✊✊✊
