Overview of Exhibition « Now Is Open » @nacoca.ko An open-studio-exhibition Recent and nearly complete works, alongside select studio elements. Continuing an investigation into plastic and concret, materials inherited and persistent across deep time, the project reflects on artificiality, transformation, and the geology of anthropogenic matter. The space holds the present as a continuous now, a moment of emergence in which all remains open… January 2026

🏺”Glazed Realities” Espace_L Gallery 🗓️22.01.2026 to 28.02.2026 🍷Opening on January 22, from 6pm, during the first Nuit des Bains of 2026 👯‍♂️A group exhibition Fernando de la Rocque @fernando_de_la_rocque , Nacoca Ko @nacoca.ko , Jan Steenman @jansteenman_ Heberth Sobral @heberth.sobral Vasilis Zografos @zografosvasilis and @irene_venetsanou curated by Vasilis Zografos 🔎The exhibition explores contemporary ceramic practices as tools for storytelling, experimentation, and transformation. Demonstrates how ceramic surfaces reflect memory, ideas, and social narratives, creating new “realities” imbued with fragility, luminosity, and ambiguity. Through glazing, texture, and material manipulation, the participating artists investigate the intersection of materiality, perception, and human experience.

Nacoca KO Now Is Open an open-studio-exhibition 📍Olizane 11 Rue des Vieux-Grenadiers 🍷Vernissage Nuit des Bains January 22, 2026, 18h 🗓️21 – 31.01.26 Open: Mon-Fri 14h - 18h & rdv: DM 🪨🚧Recent and nearly complete works, alongside select studio elements. Continuing an investigation into plastic and concrete—materials inherited and persistent across deep time—the project reflects on artificiality, transformation, and the geology of anthropogenic matter. The space holds the present as a continuous now, a moment of emergence in which all remains open… 🔮(I will be present and open to discussions, exchanges, plotting revolutions, myth-making and storytelling, theorizing about conspiracies, worlding, and other creative shenanigans.)

(September- November, 2025) 🌅 Grateful to have participated in CLIMAXX, the spring exhibition of Futuros - Arte e Tecnologia Museum, in Rio de Janeiro @futuros.artetecnologia Curator Gabriela Maciel @gabriela___maciel___ of Tech Art Lab @tal.art.br Managment: Instituto Futuros @instituto.futuros
Support: OceanPact @grupooceanpact CLIMAXX intensifies the relationship between museums and society through the visual arts, encompassing literature, film, and other languages and worldviews connected to climate change, a phenomenon that reached its peak from the twentieth century onwards. The exhibition’s curatorial approach brings together works in diverse media by national and international artists who address contemporary ways of living and humanity’s relationship with the environment, engaging registers of the past and the present while projecting realistic, utopian, and dystopian futures. Through a critical reflection on the peak of global warming, CLIMAXX points toward desires and actions oriented toward more sustainable and ecological times. Nacoca Ko @nacoca.ko “Feeding Our Souls / Alimentando Nossas Almas” 2024 aprox. « Feeding Our Souls » was originally created to accompany City Harvest London’s Planet Report, in its Beauty of Food Redistribution exhibitions and events.  The Planet Report Art looks at the stark contrast between thriving versus starving, and sustainable versus unsustainable business. Nacoca Ko’s ethereal organic spheres contrast the toxic inertia of waste with ‘The Beauty of Food Redistribution.’ In a critique of the peak of global warming, CLIMAXX points for more sustainable and ecological times though national and international artists which address the way we live and our relationship with the environment.
