🤝Connect with reps at NACC and Spinitron to discuss how to utilize and maximize these platforms. We’ll also talk about the ins and outs of music programming, and why playing new music is so vital to your station’s existence.
➕PLUS, the importance of sharing what you’re doing - posting playlists, interviews, adds! - and all the different ways programmers decide / tabulate what goes on to their charts and on the air.
☑️We’ll also make sure everyone knows what an add date is, what a rotation system is , and the importance of playlist maintenance (and no, we’re not talking about Spotify…but they’re part of the conversation too!), and share info on resources - aka your Independent label and Radio Promotion family - who you can utilize to make station programming easier!

📡 For the first time ever The Intercollegiate Broadcasting System (IBS) will offer a Music Programming focused track of workshops at their conference on Friday March 7th.
To launch the program NACC (the North American College and Community Chart) and the music industry NonProfit FairPlay will host an afternoon of conversations discussing the nuts and bolts of programming for College Radio / NonComm stations covering every thing from the basics of charting, programming and reporting, to social media and content creation best practices. There will also be a panel on the importance of Community Building and engagement, Diversity and Equity Initiatives on and off the airwaves (hosted by FairPlay) and more.
