DELETE these outdated words from your RESUME These old-school résumé words are low-key holding you back. ❌ Team player ✅ Worked closely with cross-functional teams to drive X initiative ✅ Aligned multiple departments to deliver measurable outcomes 💡 Everyone claims they’re a team player. Leaders explain what actually moved because of them. ❌ Assisted ✅ Partnered with, Contributed to, Supported execution of X project ✅ Example: Partnered with HR leadership to revamp onboarding, cutting ramp-up time by 20% 💡 “Assisted” feels like you were watching from the sidelines. “Partnered” shows skin in the game. ❌ Managed ✅ Directed, Coordinated, Oversaw ✅ Example: Directed a team of 8 to exceed quarterly targets ahead of schedule 💡 “Managed” is vague. Results are not. ❌ Responsible for ✅ Owned,️, Delivered, Achieved ✅ Example: Owned the quarterly reporting process, improving accuracy by 15% 💡 Hiring managers hire owners, not task-holders. ❌ Implemented ✅ Executed, Deployed, Streamlined, Enhanced ✅ Example: Streamlined CRM rollout, improving sales data accuracy by 30% 💡 “Implemented” tells the action. Strong verbs tell the impact. ❌ Detail-oriented ✅ Quality-focused, Precision-driven, Analytical ✅ Example: Identified data inconsistencies and improved reporting reliability by 25% 💡 If you really are detail-oriented, your results should prove it. ❌ Hardworking ✅ Results-driven, Performance-focused, Outcome-oriented ✅ Example: Consistently hit milestones under tight deadlines 💡 Effort doesn’t get hired. Outcomes do. ❌ Experienced in ✅ Specialized in, Hands-on with, Proficient in ✅ Example: Specialized in data visualization using Power BI and Tableau 💡 “Experienced” = exposure. “Specialized” = confidence. ❌ Strong communication skills ✅ Influenced stakeholders, Drove alignment, Simplified complex ideas ✅ Example: Influenced senior leadership decisions through clear data storytelling 💡 Drop the adjectives. Show the effect. We have helped candidates turn rejections into interview invites by rewriting the application the right way and aligned. Want help with y

A lot of people walk into interviews thinking they have nothing valuable to say because they haven’t worked in “big” companies or interviewed in years. But the truth is, most people already have the experience. They just don’t know how to communicate it with confidence, structure, and clarity. That is exactly what we help with at Nabeltech. From CV reviews to job applications and interview preparation, we help you position your experience properly and stop underselling yourself. You do not need to sound robotic to get hired. You need strategy, preparation, and the right guidance. Comment “JOB” if you want support with your next application or interview.

Your CV is either opening doors… or quietly closing them. Most people don’t lose opportunities because they are unqualified. They lose them because their CV is outdated, overcrowded, or doesn’t sell their experience properly. Here are 5 things that should NEVER be on your CV if you want to stand out in today’s job market 👀 A strong CV should: ✔ Highlight impact ✔ Position your experience clearly ✔ Be tailored to the role ✔ Pass recruiter and ATS screening ✔ Make employers want to interview you quickly Small changes can completely change the quality of jobs you attract. At Nabeltech, we help professionals create strategic, job-winning CVs for: ✨ Tech roles ✨ Corporate roles ✨ Civil Service applications ✨ NHS roles ✨ Career transitions If your CV is not getting interviews, it’s time to fix the strategy behind it. Comment “CV” and we’ll send you details on our CV support service 📩

360 DWP Case Manager roles just opened and honestly… this is one of the best transition opportunities for people working in care right now. 👏🏽 If you already have experience: ✔ supporting vulnerable people ✔ handling difficult conversations ✔ writing reports and case notes ✔ safeguarding ✔ managing emotional situations professionally …you already have transferable skills they are looking for. A lot of care workers underestimate how valuable their experience really is in the corporate/government space. The issue is usually not experience. It’s knowing how to position yourself properly on the application. That’s where most people get screened out. At Nabeltech, we help you: ✨ Tailor your CV ✨ Write strong behaviour examples ✨ Structure your personal statement ✨ Prepare for interviews confidently ✨ Understand what recruiters are actually looking for You do not need to figure it all out alone. 📩 comment “DWP” for: • Application guidance • CV support • Personal statement help • Interview prep support Deadline: 14th May ⏳ Don’t wait till the last minute.

A lot of people think you have to pay thousands to get into tech. That’s not always true. There are companies in the UK that will train you, pay you, and place you into real roles. No guessing. No “hope it works out”. Most people miss them because: – the deadlines aren’t loud – the applications close quietly – and no one explains how this actually works So let’s fix that. Here are 3 companies that pay you to get into tech 👇🏽 1️⃣ Code First Girls Free tech training with employer-funded pathways. Some routes lead straight into paid roles. Deadlines are cohort-based and fill fast. 2️⃣ Multiverse Paid tech apprenticeships. You earn a salary from day one while learning software, data, cyber, or digital. Applications are rolling, but roles close quickly. 3️⃣ QA Apprenticeships Paid apprenticeships in IT, software, data, cloud, and cyber. Open throughout the year. Save this. Share it. And comment “COMMUNITY” to join our Free Work circle to benefit from all these opportunities.

Lately, I’ve been getting a lot of messages about remote jobs people can start without experience and still earn in pounds or dollars. So I put this together to give you clarity. The truth is, it’s not about having experience, it’s about choosing the right role, learning the basics, and positioning yourself properly. Most people stay stuck because they don’t know where to start. Go through the slides, pick one role, and focus. That’s how this actually works. If you’re thinking about working remotely but don’t know what fits you yet, comment REMOTE and I’ll share a simple starting point.

I got my first big girl job because I answered this question properly… “Why should we hire you?” Most people ramble here. Or list skills. Or try to impress. That’s not what works. Here’s how to actually answer it: Start with a real moment. Not “I’m hardworking.” Show them. Talk about a time things were off track, messy, or unclear… and how you stepped in and changed the outcome. Keep it tight but real. Then make it clear what you’re known for. What do people rely on you for when things matter? That’s your edge. Show them you’ve done your homework. Why this company? What are they building, fixing, or trying to scale? Connect that to how you work. Then close with what makes you different. Not noise. Not buzzwords. Just clarity. Simple. Structured. Memorable. If your answers aren’t landing in interviews, it’s not your experience… it’s how you’re saying it. Comment INTERVIEW and I’ll show you how we help you structure answers that actually get you the offer.
