Look, the problem with Morey is that he treats the team like a 2K simulation instead of a locker room full of people. From the jump, his whole philosophy has been flawed because it’s all about chasing names on a spreadsheet while ignoring how the actual pieces fit together.
The Paul George situation is the perfect example of this top-down failure. Giving a max deal to a guy in his mid-30s with bad knees just because he’s a “star” was a desperate move that killed our flexibility. Now we’re stuck paying over 100 million bucks to two guys who can barely stay on the floor at the same time.
Then you look at the Jared McCain trade. Moving a young kid who actually had some spark just to stockpile more “assets” was a punch in the gut to the fans and the players. It’s like he cares more about winning the trade deadline than winning a playoff series. We ended up with a bench that couldn’t score and an identity that didn’t exist. He’s spent so much time playing math games that he forgot you need chemistry and grit to survive the second round. Embiid is frustrated, the fans are fed up, and the “Process” has basically turned into a giant circle. It’s time to get a real basketball mind in here who knows that hearts beat harder than algorithms. @n0phlyzone
Only in Philly can the Flyers start with a 3.8% playoff chance, sneak into the dance, beat the Penguins when it mattered, and still have us proud after getting swept by Carolina. Yeah, it hurt, but the Flyers were playing with house money. They battled, they cared, and they gave the city a pulse again. The Sixers? That’s a whole different crime scene. MVP talent, massive expectations, and every spring ends with the same injury reports, excuses, and emotional damage. At some point, it’s not just bad luck… it’s the culture. Josh Harris needs to sell the team. Philly doesn’t need another corporate spreadsheet franchise. We need an owner who bleeds for this city, demands accountability, and stops letting every season turn into a therapy session. Give the Flyers slack. They overachieved. The Sixers? Sell the team and let us heal. @n0phlyzone
