I BOUGHT AND MODIFIED MY DAD HIS DREAM CAR!!!
Dad has spent his entire adult life being a parent to both me and my brother and now my sister too and has always worked his arse off to provide for us. He’s always driven whatever he had to, whether that was a Renault Megane family wagon, a peugeot 207 or a Old Ford focus, and for as long as I can remember he’s always said he wanted a mk5 gti but never ever went out and got himself something he’d enjoy, he always got the cheapest car he could find just so he wouldn’t ‘waste’ money and would rather use it for family experiences, holidays etc.
Ever since I was 16 Dad has always helped me with anything and everything, from buying my first moped on his credit card and allowed me to pay him back over time so I could start my first job to paying for mods for my cars as birthday gifts, and to just always being there to support me in whatever I did. And even after paying him back for my moped, for my 3 series, for my car insurance so I didn’t have to pay interest, I still never felt I’d paid him back enough. And when I was 18 years I promised him I would buy him his dream mk5 GTI before he turns 50. Looking back you probably thought I was just talking shit😂
But here we are 5 years later, Dad I hope this shows you how much I appreciate everything you’ve done to help me be the man I am today and everything you’ve done for all of us kids. It’s finally your turn to have something you enjoy ☺️ No it’s not a Lamborghini or a Porsche, one day it may well be, but I hope you have as much fun as I did driving and working on this car.
