Myles Erlick is one of the fastest-rising names in modern country music - and he’s bringing that momentum to the Vaughan International Music Festival. The Canadian-born, Nashville-based artist has been making serious noise with his blend of country grit, pop influence, and high-impact live performance. Backed by viral momentum, major editorial playlist support, and SiriusXM-supported releases like “This Town”, Myles is quickly establishing himself as one of the genre’s breakout crossover artists. In 2024, he won the prestigious Jim Beam National Talent Search before signing with ONErpm & Huff Co. Nashville - the new venture led by legendary producers Dann Huff and David Huff. Whether it’s on stage, on screen, or online, Myles brings an energy that commands attention - and VIMF is about to feel that firsthand. We’re excited to welcome Myles Erlick as the official Country Night headliner. SAT JULY 18 | 9:40PM Assembly Park - South VMC - #MYVIMF #LivePerformance #Country #MylesErlick #YorkRegion

BRKN LOVE is bringing Rock to Vaughan. Known for their massive sound, explosive live shows, and unapologetic approach to modern rock, the Toronto-based band has become one of Canada’s strongest voices in the genre. Led by vocalist and guitarist Justin Benlolo, BRKN LOVE blends heavy riffs, raw vocals, and sharp songwriting into records built to hit hard live. Since breaking out with “Shot Down”, the band has built serious momentum through international touring, major festival appearances, and a growing global fanbase. Influenced by bands like Soundgarden, Led Zeppelin, Royal Blood, and Highly Suspect, BRKN LOVE continues pushing rock forward while keeping the energy and authenticity that made people fall in love with it in the first place. If you’ve seen them live before, you already know. If you haven’t - this is the show to catch. We’re excited to welcome BRKN LOVE as the official Rock Night headliner at the Vaughan International Music Festival. Coming out of Exeter, Ontario, Graham Bedard is carving out his place in Canadian country music with powerhouse vocals, raw storytelling, and a country-rock sound rooted in both grit and heart. Blending the energy of ’90s rock with modern country influences, Graham has spent nearly two decades honing his craft, sharing stages with Canadian icons like David Wilcox, Kim Mitchell, and The Washboard Union. As we wrap up our THE VIMF REPORT takeover by Dr. Marina D., we want to leave you with one final reminder: Canadian music was never “catching up.” It is contributing — and it always has been. This week, we explored the sounds, stories, people, and conversations shaping our industry. From the resurgence of pop-punk, to the roots of country and rock, to mental health and access to music education, these conversations reminded us that music is bigger than charts and streams. It’s community. It’s culture. It’s people. Thank you for following along with THE VIMF REPORT this week. Read the final article now on LinkedIn and join the conversation. - #TheVIMFReport #VIMF #CanadianMusic #MentalHealthAwareness #SupportCanadianMusic
