Took a morning drive and found a random small lake out on the Kitsap Peninsula. Had the place to myself, with the exception of some waterfowl. The water was still and I managed to capture a few images until a light breeze started.

This weekend I met someone expressing their grief through the creation of something beautiful. Surrounded by mountains, water and sand - carefully placed among the rocks - small memorials in honor of her sister.

The standard winter hike in the North Bend / Snoqualmie area - Franklin Falls. Hasn’t been cold enough to freeze up around the waterfall but still a beautiful destination. Hard packed snow on the trail past the campground made it a little slippery. Wasn’t very crowded considering the sunny day.
