Meet Dodson Bennett, co-founder of Myth Boston (@mythboston ).
Born and raised in Dorchester with roots in Honduras, style has always been around him. What started with screen-printed tees at the Boys & Girls Club alongside his co-founder LA (@lathemyth ) grew into Myth Boston: a brand that blends streetwear, storytelling, and community impact.
Dodson calls himself "a student of all games", always learning, pivoting, and finding ways to make an impact. Whether through his work at Reebok or pushing Myth forward with LA, the drive has always been the same: to show the next kid from Dorchester that they can create their own lane and make themselves proud.
Myth Boston isn’t about being like everybody else. It’s about telling stories nobody else is telling, and making pieces that help people feel good about themselves.

“Adulting” is the word I would use to describe 2024.
Left the nest and truly stepped into the real world. I learned so much and i can’t wait to apply what i learned in the future. Working on the background things has absolutely been a journey. @ma_kayyla_ Thank you for supporting me and walking with me as we plan for our wedding next year. To my Mother and Sister, thank you for being there for me whenever i needed a laugh or a life break.
Working on all of these projects this year and traveling was amazing. Blessed to be in this industry. I’ve met some legends and incredible creatives this year as well.
My plan to continue to speak to the Youth about the Footwear Industry and giving them the opportunity to speak to someone in this industry will never stop. Shout out to @uncle.deleveaux and many other Educators that reached out to speak to their students.
Unfortunately, in the last week Sept., I lost my Uncle Howard King to his battle with Cancer. He was a pillar in my development and someone I knew who would forever be in my corner. That Last Celtics game we went too meant so much to me because you are the one who introduced them to me. I’m glad you was able to see us win that last Championship. I am forever thankful for everything you have ever said to me.
To everyone, keep going. Don’t be afraid to fail. Don’t be afraid to be human. Inspire someone to do something great. Have patience with yourself and pray.
