Here’s the system we’re using Wykamol CM3 membrane wall a high performance studded membrane installed across the full perimeter of the basement wall walls this creates a controlled air gap that safely channels moisture away while preventing damp transfer into the new living space Wykamol CM3 mesh membrane ideal for areas that require direct plaster or boarding the mesh Face allows for strong mechanical fixings while maintaining the full waterproof layer behind high load XPS insulation boards floor system. These high density boards create a stable insulated base ready for the new floor buildup they provide excellent compressive strength thermal efficiency resistance to moisture perfect for basements where cold floors are common issue perimeter detailing and drainage strategy.
