This rugby bar, is a popular spot for fans and has often been voted ‘the best pub in Limerick.’
Whilst the pub dates to 1802, its current name comes from the owner who acquired it in the 1960’s alongside his wife Bridie, and although they left in 1980’s it has retained it.
When I was here the staff behind the bar were happy to share tales of when Ed Sheeran and his team all piled in after finishing a performance nearby, let the drinks flow and were great company mixing with the locals.
