Also:
Clyde Hill is definitely not Irish, but like many Irish people, we believe that a funeral is a cause for a celebration of the life of the deceased.
If anyone’s life deserves celebrating, it is Clyde’s!
Please join us on Monday, Aug 26th at Kelly’s Irish Pub after Clyde’s reception at Valley View for food and drinks.
It’s all about celebrating and embracing our mortality with a bit of humour and good cheer. Pay your respects and raise a glass to Clyde “Buster” Hill and then maybe stay a little while to listen to some good stories.
Tommy, Mike and the Hill Family.

IT’S OFFICIAL!
#BUSTERFEST was a MASSIVE success due to the outpouring of love we witnessed at the @rickshawtheatre on July 27th, 2024!
The final accounting is done we can share some incredible news!
Through your generosity, BUSTERFEST raised $18,266!
After expenses, everything goes to Clyde and his family.
Today, we can proudly say that BUSTERFEST will be able to fully cover all of the expenses for our friend Clyde Hill’s final arrangements.
THANK YOU once again for everyone who came to BUSTERFEST: JAR. And the other great bands, the Rickshaw and staff, our sponsors and anyone who helped with the show or generously showed support via donations and messages for Clyde. Every single thing made a difference!
With utmost gratitude (and maybe a few tears):

I was asked to do my thing and document the event, and since I had already planned to support my long-time friend, I packed a few extra items and headed down to the Rickshaw. What a night it turned out to be! So many familiar faces and a surge of nostalgia that hit me right in the feels.
My personal history with the lower mainland dates back to 1997 when I first moved here with my band, Fell. We quickly sought out AMAR Management, eager to be part of the vibrant music scene they were cultivating. They were managing @nickelback , JAR, and Noise Therapy at the time. Clyde was the one I connected with most; his warm smile and kindness drew me in. He was the first to help me on my musical journey, signing our band to their management.
Not long after, I joined @defaultband , and my friendship with Clyde only grew stronger. I have fond memories of seeing him at local shows, always laughing and playfully trying to pick my pocket. My heart feels incredibly heavy as I write this, realizing that I will never have to guard my wallet from Clyde Hill at a music event again. This loss fills me with immense sadness. The music scene will not be the same without him in it.
Thank you, Clyde, for believing in me and giving me my start. I will forever be grateful. ❤️

Here is my late-night highlight reel of the #Busterfest headliners. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for each and every one of you who came out to support our friend @clydehill
This was a very special evening, and although Clyde was not able to attend I know he was feeling the love.
