🌈 Exciting News: Feeld joins myGwork
We're thrilled to welcome Feeld as a new partner at myGwork!
Feeld has long been a space where people can explore identity, connection and relationships authentically and without judgement values that sit at the very heart of what we do here at myGwork. As the world's leading LGBTQ+ professional community, we're so excited to be joining forces with a platform that truly champions self-expression and inclusivity.
Together, we look forward to building meaningful connections, supporting our community through shared events, and creating spaces where LGBTQ+ professionals can show up as their whole selves both in and out of the workplace.
Here's to a wonderful partnership! 🧡🏳️🌈

We are delighted that Euronext chose myGwork and our incredible ambassador Laila to mark IDAHOBIT, bringing colleagues together to explore the vital themes of intersectionality and microaggressions. A special thank you to Simon, their CEO, for opening the session and demonstrating that meaningful change must also come from the top.

Come, celebrate with us.
Join us on 3rd June, 4.30 pm onwards, Welwyn Garden City.

If you or someone you know would like to attend and celebrate with us, pl share and spread the word.

Kicking off Trans+ History Week today! 💙
We’re celebrating the people, moments, and milestones that shape trans history.
Here are 10 facts you may not have known, let’s keep learning, sharing, and supporting each other.
Many cultures historically recognized more than two genders. For example, the Hijra in South Asia, Two-Spirit people in Indigenous North American cultures, and Fa'afafine in Samoa all reflect long-standing traditions of gender diversity.
The Roman emperor Elagabalus (3rd century CE) reportedly preferred feminine titles and presentation. Some historians interpret these accounts as evidence of gender variance, though sources are debated.
Magnus Hirschfeld founded the Institut für Sexualwissenschaft in 1919, which became a pioneering center for studying sexuality and gender identity and offering early gender-affirming care.
In 1933, during the rise of Nazi Party rule, the Institut für Sexualwissenschaft was raided and its research burned—setting back transgender and LGBTQ+ research by decades.
Lili Elbe underwent a series of gender-affirming surgeries in the early 1930s and became one of the first widely known trans women in modern European history.
In the 1950s, Christine Jorgensen became one of the first trans people in the U.S. to receive widespread media coverage after her transition, bringing public attention to transgender issues.
The Compton's Cafeteria Riot—led largely by trans women and drag queens—occurred before the more widely known Stonewall Riots and was a key moment of resistance against police harassment.
Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera were prominent activists in the late 1960s and 1970s and co-founded Street Transvestite Action Revolutionaries to support marginalized trans youth.
The transgender pride flag was created in 1999 by Monica Helms. Its blue, pink, and white stripes represent traditional gender colors and nonbinary or transitioning identities.
Many countries now legally recognize gender changes and protect transgender rights, though policies vary widely. For instance, the Gender Recognition Act 2004 allows legal gender recognition in the UK under certain conditions.
