Your body has been an afterthought in medicine for too long. We’re done accepting that. This year we’re doing something different for mother’s day. Together with Rescripted, we launched a petition calling on Congress and the NIH to mandate proportional research funding for conditions that primarily affect women - PCOS, endometriosis, menopause, autoimmune disease, Alzheimer’s. We are half the country. It’s time they funded us like it. Sign it. Share it. Make noise. → link in bio #WomensHealthMonth #WomensHealthWeek #FundWomensHealth #PCOS #Endometriosis Perimenopause WomensHealth

Notice how NONE of these mentions how I'd get through the shots 😅. While that part sucks, the really hard part is the toll on your mental health. As a fertility and IVF nurse, I thought I understood what my patients went through. I'd cry with them often. But, it wasn't until going through infertility, IVF, and pregnancy loss myself that I truly appreciated *just* how hard this process is mentally and emotionally. What advice would you add? PS - one of the best parts of Binto, IMO, is that you can book a fertility consult for only $50. Sometimes you just want to talk to a provider who gets it.

This is a big deal for women’s health, and it happened today! PCOS has been officially renamed PMOS: Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome. Published in The Lancet following a landmark global consensus study - 22,000 patients and clinicians, 11 years in the making. Why does this matter? Because the old name was always wrong. Most people with “polycystic ovary syndrome” never had ovarian cysts. The name obscured what was really happening - a complex, multisystem condition affecting hormones, metabolism, skin, mental health, and reproduction. And that mismatch had real consequences: delayed diagnoses, fragmented care, and stigma for millions of people. The new name finally reflects the full picture. And with it comes updated clinical guidelines, improved medical education, and a mandate for research that treats the whole person, not just the ovaries. 170 million people worldwide are affected by this condition. 70% are still undiagnosed. A name change won’t fix everything, but accurate language is where better care begins. Swipe through for the full breakdown. Save this and share it with someone who has PMOS. 💛 #PMOS #PCOS #WomensHealth #HormoneHealth #PCOS2PMOS FertilityHealth Binto WomensHealthNews PCOSCommunity EndocrineHealth

Not all prenatal vitamins are created equal — and the label can be really deceiving. As a fertility nurse turned founder, I've looked at a lot of prenatal labels. And most of what's out there is either underdosed, missing key nutrients, or using forms your body can't absorb well. Here's what I actually look for: ✔ Folate (as methylfolate or folic acid — both matter, depending on your needs) ✔ Iron in a bioavailable form (not just ferrous sulfate) ✔ Choline — this one is wildly underrated and almost always missing ✔ Iodine — crucial for thyroid and baby's brain development ✔ DHA — you want this separate or included, but you need it ✔ B12 as methylcobalamin, not cyanocobalamin ✔ Vitamin D3 + K2 together And here's a friendly reminder that your nutritional needs during pregnancy don't change so dramatically trimester to trimester that you need a completely different formula. One well-formulated prenatal, taken consistently, is what actually moves the needle. Save this if you're currently shopping for a prenatal or are thinking about starting one. 💛 Comment "prenatal" for a link to my favorite prenatal option.

You’ve probably seen this one circulating...the combination of an antihistamine and an antacid that’s supposedly going to fix your hot flashes and brain fog. We saw the CNN piece and wanted to respond thoughtfully, because this is exactly the kind of thing that deserves more than a scroll. The histamine-hormone connection is real, genuinely important, and fascinating for women’s health (more on this topic soon). Estrogen does influence mast cell activity, and some perimenopausal women do notice more histamine sensitivity. But that’s different from saying Pepcid will treat your night sweats. The science doesn’t support it yet, and leaning on unproven trends can delay you from getting care that actually works. We believe in educating and informing women about their health. This means sharing what the evidence says, not just what’s trending. Drop your questions below. We’re here for it.

This Mother's Day, we decided to do something different. We got tired of the same old Instagram posts with flowers honoring women in different stages and those navigating a hard day. We wanted MORE. So, we started a petition to the NIH and Congress to fund research on diseases that disproportionately affect women. This Mother's Day, we're showing up for all of you because you keep showing up every single day. Comment "petition" and we'll DM you the link to join the movement to fund women's bodies.

Today is World Maternal Mental Health Day and we want to say this clearly: your mental health is just as important as your physical health during pregnancy and postpartum. 💛 1 in 5 women experience perinatal depression or anxiety, making it the most common complication of pregnancy. And yet it remains one of the most under-discussed. At Binto, we believe whole-body support means addressing mood, sleep, and stress alongside the physical - not as an afterthought. Nutrients like omega-3s, magnesium, and vitamin D play a real role in supporting mood regulation during and after pregnancy. If you’ve navigated this, or are navigating it right now, you’re not alone. Drop a 💛 below so we know you’re here. #WorldMaternalMentalHealthDay #MaternalMentalHealth #PostpartumDepression #PerinatalMentalHealth #mommentalhealth
