This glamorous goblin was so brave and asked the big scary question in a way that made me feel so loved, seen and celebrated - on stage, amongst our queer friends, with a speech, on one knee, and with the BEST ring 💍 they somehow outdid even my dreams. I'm so honored to know you, and even more to be invited into the depths of your heart ❤️ thank you for loving me, knowing me, and for giving me such a special moment. It's actually always been you.
Our story has already had such a rich plot - so much beauty, so much darkness, so much sparkle, and always so much real deep honest love. I cannot wait to explore the world, ourselves, and one another - to create, to learn, to riot and to love, side by side, till death do us part.
This was a super huge gesture and took a lot of vulnerability (even though it was very clear to everyone -apparently except for Moi - I was always going to say yes!) so thank you to everyone in our community who supported us to get here. We wouldn't be here without you all too. It was especially magical to be surrounded by so many queer friends, at a very special festival, and in a venue run by one of the leaders who fought for gay marriage rights 🌈 I'm so fucking grateful for our those who fought hard before us, so that we can just love, openly and proudly.
You might not have been looking for something serious, but 4 years I'm definitely seriously in love with you.
