I had hands down one of the best birthdays of my life. I used to have historically terrible birthdays or they were bitter sweet at best but I no longer feel I can say that's the standard. Because despite The Wheel of Time and Fortune, I have everything I could really need. I am loved. There are people near me who know how to recieve love. More so, I love myself, the person I'm continuing to work towards. This body (disabilities, flaws and all) and my movement in it, in this world is a fascinating symphony. And I have nothing but gratitude for the gift of it. What I know I'm still able to do and the vastness of my potential.

This is full circle. Some you met me when I had my first boat (a too big for me 55ft schooner) an eon ago and know how painful it was for me to move onto land but at the time and for what I was traversing, it was practical. Some might even say necessary. It's been too long since I've touched a sail, raised it and flew across the water. I get that same feeling of flying when I sing and when I dance, when I write and when I create. My kiddo and I are both born of the water. As the legends say- you can never really get a mer person to forget the water. It's our home and is always calling. We will always return to it....Lookin' forward to doin' a hand stand or two on the bow 🤭.

Guess whose birthday week it is?! This <<< dude's! I have never been more grateful to be in this skin, to have the wickedest friends who understand my absolute irreverence and joy towards this earth plane, to have the people close to me that I do, to have healed and be healing and to be building & in real community with some of the best souls this side of the Universe. I am just real fuckin' glad to be here and to be able to do the things I love to do inspite of challenges great and small. I'm deeply grateful for the blessing of another trip around the sun and am excited for what's next.
