📣✊🏾THE D.C. CHAPTER OF THE MALCOLM X GRASSROOTS MOVEMENT (@mxgmnational ) DEMANDS THE VIRGINIA RETIREMENT SYSTEM DIVEST FROM WEAPONS AND WAR! Virginia has invested $300 million into weapons manufacturers and suppliers through the Virginia Retirement System. These are the companies that supply the genocide in Gaza and imperialist aggression across the world. We demand a say in where public money is invested. The bare minimum is that it does not go to corporations who profit off of war. We reject that our taxes and pensions are being used to increase their bottom line.
