Finally posting a week later about how the test day for the x7 went. The car for the most part was a blast but with the uncertainty of what was causing the “knockin” sound I was hesitant about causing any further damage. I’m pretty sure it’s clutch related and will drop the trans at some point before the next event. Also I need to replace one of the o2 sensors which we think was the culprit for loss of power. So all in all a good time finally getting out on track with Andy after 8 years for him and 5 for me. I’m looking forward to many more track days with the homies and this uzx7

Finally got our x7’s out, both running and driving! Can’t wait for the first track day with @andy.co.jp and his jzx7 and my uzx7, stay tuned

First wiring job of the year here with @mx32leon 1uzfe Cressida. Built a swap box to power the engine, fans, fuel pump, and starter, along with cleaning up and tucking the engine harness, and also working out a few bugs/misfires to get this UZ running proper!
After multiple back to back train tandems, it was my turn to lead the train with @odidrift and @aaparkah.300 and others in chase! Some of the best and most fun laps I've had in the last 19 years coming here.
This could very well be one of my final laps at @willow_springs_raceway as they prepare to renovate my favorite track "Horse Thief Mile" and I couldn't be more happier with it.
Hopefully Willow Springs sees how important tracks like this are and bring a tight community together that doesn't have much grassroots support in SoCal these days.
Huge thanks to @flavorexpress for putting on this event!

As you all know by now we got a shop space. I wanted to say thanks to @andy.co.jp and @_andreapirulv for including me in and together making it possible to have the space for us to work on our personal cars. And shout out to @suspiciousgarage for bringing the space to our attention. Sometimes it feels like the universe just makes things happen and I can’t be more grateful. We went from working on Andy’s car in his tiny garage on jack stands to having the space for multiple cars and I went from squeezing in and out of a storage unit and getting in trouble any time I got caught working on tootsie. 😬 I’m excited to see where this space takes us with our projects. We have so many ideas for the vibes (Japan vibes obviously) can’t wait for more wrenching and hangs and again thanks to the people in my life that prove time after time good people still exist 🫡
