Thank you @upstairs.at.bow and @allshewrotebooks for an amazing Literary Trivia last week! So behind at sharing about recent events, but wanted to take a moment and gush about how absolutely fun it is to nerd out about books in drag! We all know reading is fundamental, but over the last year, over a quarter of the books banned included queer characters or storylines. Access to diverse literature is so important; everyone deserves to see themselves represented. I think how different my identity journey would have been if I had access to queer literature as a kid and young adult. I implore you to support banned authors, buy banned books, shop at independently owned bookstores, and visit your local library.
