Essentially, somatics is a return home to what indigenous communities, what our ancestors who had a more intimate relationship with nature and who had always understood that we/our bodies are nature, had always known. Also, please note that there isn’t necessarily hard lines between these somatic buckets, they can flow into each other. Deep gratitude to @somatictherapycenter and @kailajunekeliikuli of Somatic Groundwork for helping me create strong foundations in this work, and @spinalattunement for helping me get all these knowing more deeply into my body & all the layers of my being. Please check out these amazing somatic modalities. Let me know in the comments if you have any other questions about the topic and share this clip if you found it helpful. x

I’ve spent years playing hide and seek with this project. Years cracking myself wide open, letting my heart break over and over, finding inner permission to fuck up and be a mess when I least want to, just to build the trust that I can steward this body of work. So here it is: the new home for my free and paid Self Intimacy offerings that I will start to share more about in the coming weeks. In the slides above are some of the truths that have been living in my body for a while now, and that to this day, still scare the shit out of me to say. And it should feel scary. Everybody talks about the type of alignment where things come easy, and not enough about the type that calls you to confront and consciously grow out of versions of yourself where it can feel like you are quite literally clawing your way out of your old skin. And as sure as I am in my bones that I am meant to be the cycle breaker that I have been for a decade and a half now, that’s also how loud the call is for me that I’m meant to be doing the work of aligning my inner landscape with the futures I’m fighting to see. Is this alive for you too? Will you join me? If you’re feeling a yes, please follow and share @theselfintimacyproject šŸ“ø @thaisaquinophotography

I know the concept / role / path of a cycle breaker can be vast. This is my attempt to start to let my own reflections ripple out and feel for resonance. Hi. Where are my people?

If this is news to you, hi! It doesn’t matter if this brings up an aha moment or triggers skepticism or even anger! I support that. I hope you allow whatever it awakens in you to unfurl and you lovingly follow it. I’m not here to preach. I’m here to guide you in hearing your own wisdom. If you’re nodding in agreement, my invitation is to go deeper - how much more can you feel it in your bones? A couple of offerings below. Body Wisdom: a high-touch, intimately-held retreat for cycle breakers who want to come home to their body. For all bodies across gender spectrum. Sept 2-4 at Akera Retreat Center in Woodbourne, NY. 12 slots only. See link in bio. Somatic Shadow Work for Cycle Breakers: pay-what-you-can ceremony at @grandstreethealing in Brooklyn, New York. Link in bio.

Hi! I’m back at @grandstreethealing ! Come join me in one of my favorite things to do. (Hah hi yes 5 Scorpio placements + a Pluto complex.) I’m coming out of retreat prep to take you on a body-led journey to alchemizing your shadow aspects — shadow work can be tricky but when we lead with the body, we soften our mind’s defenses. If you live your life breaking cycles in any way, I’d love to support you in this journey. Especially in the current state of our world, individual shadow work is a collective responsibility. I’m here to be your steady and loving anchor, witness, and guide. No need to prepare, we’ll begin with an energy transmission that will open up what needs to move. I hope to see you there! x šŸ“ø courtesy of my beloved seer and fellow underworld traveler @thaisaquinophotography 😘

What’s it like to love someone for 15 years? My personal life barely makes it to the grid these days so let me answer this question to celebrate a personal milestone. Every relationship is a mirror and to love someone for 15 years holds up a reflection so clear and deep. You witness parts of yourself that you long to see. You get to find where the light hits just right and let your gaze linger a little longer, enjoying the perfect angles. You get to feel pretty. It’s sweet. And also, you stare at the mirror long enough, you inevitably start seeing details that dampen the mood — you see a section of hair out of place, notice your smile is a little too skewed to the left side of your cheek, become aware of that dark spot from a pimple you couldn’t help but pop when you were 12. You spiral. It gets ugly. But, if you’re lucky, your shared reflection alchemizes into mutual courage to breathe through staying with the things that make you look away, long enough to entertain the thought ā€œhey, maybe having one nostril bigger than the other is actually kind of charming.ā€ The thought ripples out just enough softness for you to start liking, maybe even loving, all of what you see. And if you’re luckier, through that process after all those 15 years, you learn that choosing yourself and choosing each other is one and the same. I love you, @queersilver . Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary month. Thank you for being my sharpest mirror and for choosing every single day for me to be one of yours. Here’s to infinitely more years of looking at our ever-changing selves through each other. šŸ“ø Nicki Fietzer

Release yourself from these expectations and see how much powerful of a space you can co-create, how much safer bodies can feel in it.

We hold space for the emergence of the Soul. Because what’s the point of healing, for the sake of healing alone? No, we heal to become more whole. Not to ā€œfixā€ ourselves But to remember to who are beyond all of the labels we have chosen for ourselves This method is about returning to your true self, first and foremost The maps we teach you are the pathways home Join us this year in Istanbul Turkey in August or Mexico in November for our globally accredited Spinal Attunement practitioner training Video of @spinalattunement practitioner @mx.ira.rain from our recent training in Samothraki Greece Captured by @sacred.witness #SomaMystica #SpinalAttunement #somatichealing #somatics #soma #trauma #nervoussystem #emotionalregulation #nervoussystem #emotionalregulation #nervoussystemhealth #embodiment #energetics
