@mx.daddy.laura is a longtime queer club gremlin and two-year Group Sound resident, known for conjuring sweaty, late-night energy with their distinctive sets. Their mixes blend breaks for the brain and bass for the booty, weaving together hypnotic tension and high-energy release. Expect grooves that make you move—but never in straight lines.

@zach_sera , originally hailing from the Emerald City of Eugene, got his start deep in a basement with a pair of turntables and a closet full of classic house records. A fresh face to the PDX scene, Zach has emerged from the basement days, ready to bring a carefully honed sound and a deep love for community to our dance floors. Weaving together a warm and soulful palette with modern textures.

@gu3ms is a founder of Group Sound and an avid music collector. As a curator, he strives to share outside-the-box selections and take risks behind the decks. Recently he started
@kitchensyncpdx , a new experimental side project blending genres beyond the dance floor format. For Bloom he’s been digging deep house, off-kilter tribal rhythms, minimal wave, whimsical footwork, and the nebulous territory between techno/bass/breaks.
Shy Hulud
@tylerewok is a DJ, community builder, and urban planner. Founding Group Sound in 2021 with friends, he has since sought to bring parties with purpose to the Portland scene. This shy little sandworm mixes up a musical melange of techno, house, break, and beyond. Not so shy to dare with some oddball fare, his sets are always sure to surprise and delight.
@ameliarosssa is our resident vibe curator, volunteer coordinator, decor diva, and core founder. Since the early days, her imagination and attention to detail have made Group Sound events stand out. From underwater aquatic explorations to cosmic horror realms, Amelia's creativity is an essential ingredient to Bloom.
