During these lovely sunny weeks I read a bunch of books I absolutely loved. Here are a few.
Conversation with friends by Sally Rooney - no news that she is an amazing writer, who manages to catch the difference between how we see ourselves and how others perceive us, along with the misunderstandings that arise from that.
The mars room by Rachel Kushner - Beautifully written how a bad start in life can cause a ripple effect to circumstances that are hard, if not impossible, to escape. Sad one, this one!
The Thursday murder club by Richard Osman - Funny, cozy crime.
Sheâs come undone by Wally Lamb - The world according to Gary but sadder.
Collected works by Lydia Sandgren - A family saga about how life unfolds while you're still trying to figure out where you want it to lead.
