want to submit but unsure what your piece could look like?
what do we even mean by scale?
here’s some inspiration :)
(obviously, the list is non-exhaustive)
your submission can be just an idea - a concept, a phenomenon, a sketch. we can work on it together.
deadline: 05/05 (in 5 days!)
submission link in bio
unsure? just dm us <3
from the microscopic to the planetary, from immediate to long-term, from local to global
what shifts when we change perspective? what gets lost (or revealed) in the process?
in this issue, we would like to discover scale across dimensions; physical, spatial, political economic, temporal, cultural
can scale measure our care?
we’re open to all forms and interpretations of the topic: through research, interviews, explaining the phenomena you’re intrigued by, stories, poems, photographs, designs, paintings, drawings…
not sure if your idea fits? dm us
apply through the link in bio or through email: [email protected]
were looking forward to hearing from you <3
bisous

we’re sooo back - and even better, we’re finally visible :)
in the first issue, we’re exploring the layers of invisible changes in our surroundings - emotions, nostalgia, infrastructures, labour… through images and words, we invite you to take a second and reflect; what do we miss? what are we yet to see?

maybe we’re already somewhere in your city
maybe we’re on the way
and if we somehow miss you, an online version is coming soon - not quite the same as holding it in your hands (and having a poster on the wall…) but hopefully still worth it!
or… if you’d like to take part in the distribution of the next issue you can get in touch, wherever you are :)
we’re really excited to meet you
and hopefully let’s stay in touch
MM
we all need more time sometimes...
so we're extending the deadline!
if you were wondering about applying, or your idea is not fully developed yet - we are waiting for you and we look forward to your interpretation of the (in)visible!
xx
MM ;*
what lies beneath the surface?
what has vanished, and where has it gone?
what invisible systems shape the way we live?
we ask about materiality and immateriality of data, invisible labour, practices, but also invisible sensations;
memories that linger, sensations erased by climate change, forms of loss that are not immediately visible
anything that goes unnoticed; anything that is missing; things that were but are no more
explain it, question it, portray it - send us your interpretations; essays; poems; interviews; graphics; illustrations; comics…
submit your work or ideas here by the 10th of January: https://forms.gle/m6GghaipgkfhdLxTA
(link also in our bio)
we look forward to meeting you :)

is climate overdone? or is it just the way we talk about it?
we are mutual matter - possibly your new favourite zine :)
through art, photography, interviews, essays, poems, design and your creativity, we focus on environmental questions that are rarely considered, named, or even sensed.
by merging science, art and conversations, we translate them into forms that can be understood, shared and talked about.
you’ll find us by chance - in your laundromat, at the post office, in a sports bar, in a cafe - all across Europe.
so stay tuned - we’ll be needing you soon!
xx
