This adorable and happy boy is Killer, a 18-year old, 22-pounds Super Mutt. His Mom tells us “ I always wanted a dog and when I started to work at home, the time was right. We adopted him at approximately 3-years old, from @waggytailrescue , NYC
He has always had selective vision and hearing; he sees and hears what is important to him. As he has gotten older he’s gotten even better at this. He is a real New Yorker - he minds his own business and appreciates it if you don’t ask him to mind your business. Except for big dogs - he barks at them after they have gone by”.
On a personal note: I have known this boy for many years. He is not only the cutest but the happiest boy in the neighborhood. He loves his walks it doesn’t matter if it’s raining, snowing, cold or hot everyday. He is just the best!

FLUFFY

This very sweet and happy girl is Fluffy, a 7-year old, 18-pounds Shitzu. Her Mom tells us “The day I met her started unexpectedly. I was walking home when I noticed her brother sitting in a window. Curious, I went inside to ask about him, only to learn he had already been adopted. However, they told me his sister was still available. When they brought her out, everything changed. She was just 3 pounds, full of energy, and immediately covered me in kisses. In that moment, I knew she was meant to come home with me.
She is a funny girl who loves eating snow, refusing to stop even when she is freezing. Sticks are also a favorite sometimes holding them for her entire walk. But the one thing she is obsessed with are tennis balls! We can’t pass @petco without her pulling me in to get one and once she has it she won’t let it go. She will walk everywhere with it and even sleep with the ball still in her mouth.
Before Fluffy, my life had its challenges. Growing up in the foster care system and struggling with my mental health made things difficult at times. Fluffy didn’t just become my pet—she became my healing. She showed me what happiness truly feels like and brought light into my life in a way I never expected.
