Update on Starlet!! We were able to get her out of the shelter thanks to a handful of amazing humans. Thank you to @notyourbasicpt who picked her up and kept her overnight, our favorite @karentreptow who drove her to OC and her amazing foster momma @daynadallas who is fostering her. Starlet went to the vet for some basics but will need more specialized care in the coming weeks (dermatologist, surgery for her cherry eyes). We are so happy she’s on the right path because this girl is SWEET. She loves all people and is lovely with other animals. If you’d like to contribute to her care you can do so via her IG fundraiser or Venmo, PayPal or Cuddly.

When Sancho was rescued, he was living on a mattress outside covered in wounds, weak, and clearly failed by humans.
We gave him the medical care and time he needed to heal, and someone saw him at one of our adoption events and instantly knew this was their dog.
Now he’s meeting new people, making dog friends, and being spoiled silly. His adopter says, “He has such a pure sweet heart. Everyone that meets him loves him.”

Martin is a Weimaraner/Malinois mix with the goofiest smile, the sweetest soul and the calmest vibe, especially for his breed mix. He loves his walks, but he’s also perfectly happy chilling at home with just two 30-minute walks a day. He’d be a great adventure buddy as well as a great couch companion. This 6 month old pup is so loving, loyal, intelligent, goofy, adventurous and photogenic! He’s such a stud. We really think he would thrive in a home with other active, playful dogs. He’s been so gentle around kids! A yard or any outdoor space would be a huge bonus as he’s still getting used to leash life and walks.

We have few words for this one as Starlet was surrendered to the shelter by her owner. We cannot even begin to understand how a dog ends up looking like this. At the very least this is MONTHS of neglect. She’s skin and bones but has a spirit that won’t break. She’s dog friendly and seems to be a Cocker Spaniel. We are picking her up and getting her the vet care she so desperately needs but we are hoping to raise a few bucks for her. She will also need a foster that can care for her while we work through her health. If you can foster please fill out an application on our website.
Saki is the sweetest, happiest, most adorable puppy… but she had a rough start. She was found next to a dumpster in an alley. In a box. Lucky, she was found by an amazing human who also just happens to be a vet tech, who is now fostering her.
She’s around 3-4 months old, 12 pounds and we think she’ll be a medium sized dog when full grown. She’s had her first 2 rounds of vaccines already and is crate and potty trained. She’s great with other dogs and loves everyone she meets. She’s sweet, affectionate and playful and is ready for her forever home!
