Two years ago today, we took the step of getting married.
The memories we made on this day still make us smile & laugh.
Honestly, we had no clue what we were doing and no one to guide us, so we ended up having the most beautiful and gangster wedding you could never prepare for 😂
It all turned out amazing in the end, but before that, pure chaos. From paperwork to travelling almost every week.
It wasn’t a cinderella wedding, but when we look back, we wouldn’t change a thing.
We want to say a big thanks to Ali and Lizzie for making this possible, and to our lovely driver Peter, who didn’t even know we were getting married that day 😂.
After all those trips with him to Nairobi, he still said he would’ve worn a suit if he knew!
So here’s to our two-year anniversary, and for those who never got to see it, this is a small glimpse of how it all unfolded. 🫶
Grateful for a love that feels like home, no matter where we are. Cheers to doing things our way. 🤍

Freestyle has a way of feeling uncertain, even uncomfortable at first. It can feel strange, almost like getting lost, but through that process something deeper begins to awaken. Movements that have been quiet for so long start to resurface, as if memory itself is carried within the body. It has been a long time since I allowed myself to move slowly, to step into the world of a softer rhythm or the emotion of contemporary dance. Today feels like the beginning again, a moment to reconnect, to let the music guide me back to that place through freestyle.#todance #danceagain #mutheedaniel
