Savannah Breeze Written in 2018 during a quiet, reflective season of my life. The melody came first, open and airy, inspired by the feeling of standing in wide grasslands at sunset with nothing but wind and space around you. It was first released under the Soul Elation Project with Elation Entertainment, a chapter of growth and exploration for me. Now I’m bringing it back with deeper clarity and maturity in my sound. Some songs capture a moment. This one grew with me. Out on the 13th of March.

Musicians, songwriters, and artists in general, we are living in a rare moment. Technology is moving fast, and AI is one of the most powerful tools we’ve ever had access to. Used with intention, it saves time, expands creative options, and raises the standard for what strong writing and strong music actually sound like. I want to speak directly to musicians. It’s difficult to ignore how quickly some artists have moved toward releasing music that is entirely AI-generated. AI tools are here to stay, and almost all of us have explored them in some way. That exploration isn’t the problem. The issue is when convenience replaces craft, and output becomes more important than growth. AI should be seen as an assistant, not a replacement. Much like working with a producer, it can help expand your ideas into styles, sounds, or approaches you may not be deeply familiar with. A good producer challenges you, suggests directions you might not have considered, and helps translate your ideas into different musical languages. AI can offer that kind of support when used thoughtfully. Music, at its core, is still about decisions, taste, and identity. Those don’t come from prompts alone. They come from years of listening, practicing, failing, refining, and finding your voice. AI can support that process, but it cannot supply the lived experience behind the sound. I understand the pressure to stay visible and release constantly. But there’s another way to use this technology. Generate ideas, then sit with them. Play them. Question the harmony. Reshape the rhythm. Let the process challenge your ears and your hands. Use the tool to stretch your musicianship, not bypass it. There’s also the question of longevity. Trends move fast, but musicianship travels far. When the moment calls for live performance, collaboration, or serious artistic opportunities, what matters is not how quickly you can generate a track, but how deeply you understand music and how convincingly you can deliver it. AI should be part of the process, not the identity. The goal isn’t to sound impressive today, but to remain skilled, credible, and relevant tomorrow. MuTeMwA 2026

What Is Music To Me? To Me, Music Is Not Just What People Hear. It Is What I Live, Breathe, Think About, And Carry Every Day. Before It Becomes A Performance, A Song, Or A Recording, It Starts As A Feeling Inside My Chest. Sometimes Joy, Sometimes Pain, Sometimes Questions I Do Not Even Have Words For Yet. As A Musician, I Do Not Just Listen To Music. I Study It, Wrestle With It, Get Tired Of It, Fall In Love With It Again. There Are Days When It Flows Easily, And Days When Nothing Works, But I Still Show Up. Because Music Is Not Just Talent. It Is Commitment, Patience, Failure, Practice, Growth, And Stubborn Faith In Sound. Music Has Taught Me Discipline. It Has Taught Me Silence. It Has Taught Me How To Listen, Not Just To Notes, But To People, To Life, To Myself. It Has Humbled Me And Lifted Me. It Has Made Me Feel Powerful And Completely Small At The Same Time. People Often See The Performance, The Applause, The Stage. They Rarely See The Lonely Rehearsals, The Doubts, The Missed Notes, The Fear Before Walking Out, The Quiet Work No One Claps For. But All Of That Is Part Of The Music Too. At The End Of The Day, I Do Music Because It Understands Me. When I Cannot Explain Myself, I Play. When I Am Grateful, I Play. When I Am Broken, I Play. Music Has Become My Language, My Prayer, My Fight, My Peace. That Is My Point Of View As A Musician. Music Is Not What I Do. It Is Who I Am.

There’s a peace you only find in silence. Hymn of Stillness is my reflection of that space. #OrchestralAtmosphere #CinematicOrchestration #AmbientOrchestral #SlowMusic

Oblivion: The Fall — an original orchestral work capturing the beauty within collapse. It’s about chaos, loss, and the fragile hope that survives when everything falls apart. #Oblivion #TheFall #CinematicMusic #OrchestralSound #MutemwaSimbala #composer

Rwanda… what a ride it’s been. Came in solo, left with a whole crew I now call family. I’ve laughed till I cried, vented over late-night tea (and occasionally whiskey 😅), and found people who really saw me, even on the days I barely saw myself. I’ve learned, unlearned, grown, outgrown, connected, disconnected… and somehow, stayed grounded through it all, thanks to the incredible friends who made this place feel like home. To my people: you made the tough days softer, the good days even better, and the ordinary moments unforgettable. Thank you for the hugs, the real talk, the chaos, the healing, the brochettes, the playlists, the everything. This was supposed to be a learning experience… I didn’t expect to walk away with so many soul ties. Rwanda, you gave me more than I asked for. I’ll carry it all with me. 🇷🇼❤️ Murakoze

Remember that moment in The Little Rascals when Alfalfa stood on stage, nervously serenading Darla with ‘You’re So Beautiful’? His voice cracking, heart wide open, it was awkward, pure, and unforgettable. Here’s my saxophone take on that scene… same melody, grown-up soul. 🎷 A little Sunday love from me to you. #YoureSoBeautiful #LittleRascals #AlfalfaAndDarla #SaxCover #SundayVibes #SoulfulSundays”
