As a collaboration between @clyde_0000 and i, we present ‘A Woman with Her Vases’ – this first mural of a six-part story weaves through the Reserve at Thunderbirds community. This first piece painted in just two weeks, takes you through a narrative journey of change, hope, transformation, resilience, and reconciliation. Diving into the research of ‘trauma design’, we chose to venture into the realm of deep, moody magentas and purples, bieng a risky approach for the sake of starting this conversation. This choice wasn’t made lightly; a deliberate step to the beginning of our narrative with these walls. The story begins with a woman in a moment of profound reconciliation, recognizing the power and magic she possesses in shaping her future. This is symbolized through the woman sculpting ceramic vases, using the energy and power of the sun. It’s a metaphor for creation, healing, and the coming of new possibilities, with the intention of making you dive into a journey of discovering your your own power to mold your very future. What we hope for this mural, this collaboration, is stands as a beacon and reminder to the courage in exploring our own story, challenging us to confront and heal from our traumas. Huge shout out to @nerdyirishcowgirl @atlantic_devlpmnt who brought this vision to us and made this one of the best murals experience ever and allowing us to build this bridge with the community.

Glad to say I can finally show you guys some decent photos of this mural for the brand new @moontowerphx and @fleetcoffeeco cocktail coffee bar. This design was centered around my interpretation of the moments when the moon meets the sun in the sky. A humongous shout out has to go out to the LV Collective for giving me the opportunity to be a part of this! Make sure to stay tuned to what @moontowerphx has lined up next with thier new artists in residence. 💪🏾

For those who didn’t get to catch my solo show at @theconfidante in Sept, I’ve decided to show you piece by piece through out this week here on ig. First up is “Beneath the Sun”. This piece is made of reclaimed wood and acrylic paint. Subconsciously it was inspired and a small homage to the Brazilian and his landscape architect Roberto Burle Marx and his place of studies “El Sitio” This piece can be found on display at @theconfidante hotel @theconfidanteartboutique (Link in bio for inquiries)

Although this is a late post, I’m feeling super grateful for so many things I’ve been able to be a part of! In terms of projects first up is the @vero_mural_project ! Not only did I get to paint on Vero beaches Chamber of commerce, but I got to paint alongside some amazing artists at the same time. Bieng able to paint for @vero_mural_project was nothing but great vibes, an encouraging supporting community, beautiful locals and allowed me to meet so many amazing people that pour their hearts and resources into making great things happen in Vero. Biggest shout out goes to @lindamooreismore and @nmsalgar and the entire team for making this festival such a smooth ride. Also shout out to the amazing artists that I got to witness getting down @uhbeautifulmes @mwanel1_l @baghead @cpwon @2nes_unoe and many others that rocked that weekend. Inspiration: This design captures the serene balance between Vero Beach’s native beauty and its evolving creative spirit. The great egret a timeless emblem of Florida’s coastal resilience, standing gracefully among a gradients, and tropical palms, symbolizing renewal and a deep connection to the land. The egret represents patience, grace, and the harmony between stillness and movement, qualities that mirror the calm strength found throughout Vero Beach’s waterways and wildlife. Flowing geometric gradients echo the rhythm of ocean tides and the fluid energy that defines the region’s artistic pulse. Nearby, the monarch, and Zebra butterflies flutter across the composition resting on a citrus flower in bloom, a metaphor for transformation and endurance. Finding this butterfly in Vero Beach reflects the area’s natural vitality, a reminder that beauty continues to thrive where land and sea coexist in balance. The intention is to create a space that feels alive with movement and light . a visual reflection of Vero Beach’s identity where locals and visitors alike can pause, reflect, and feel connected to the area’s living ecosystem.

For centuries and still today, so much art and history are being created there, and I’m so honored to have been able to paint here. This project was my first mural residency, which I completed alongside @urbanorganikz and @ivanjroque , thanks to @huellas.tilcajete , @jacoboymariaangeles , and the entire @juliafuentesjjuan family. In between making new family and friends there, I can’t help but want to go right back and paint more murals.
