We did a group stone in my litho class at MassArt with the idea to exchange these on the last day; students did really well — today was printing day (next week is final day). We set it up so everyone fit into a 22x30” sheet. Three groups took turns and cranked out like crazy; my TA and I finished the last five sheets and trimmed them down. Each student has 21 small prints, with a variety of chine collé papers — and some are planning to add hand-coloring. They’re so happy! I am SO tired! 😜😁 They are AMAZING!!!! Great community vibe!

IRON PRINT 11 is almost here! Teams from Boston University, Massachusetts College of Art & Design, Rhode Island School of Design, and School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts will compete on Saturday February 28 to each create an edition of prints that includes relief,intaglio, lithography and screen in a VERY short amount of time! And did we mention the Mystery Ingredients? Of course not — they’re a secret till we start!
