We only went and flipping won!!! To our great surprise we took home the award for Arts and Creative @bathlifeawards We are incredibly grateful and humbled by this and have so many unbelievable people to thank for the things we were able to achieve over this past year which I will elaborate on when this is all actually sunk in and the Bath half we are running on Sunday is over…until then, time to lace up and get running 😂 ❤️

Not quite Morgan Freeman levels of voiceover gravitas here, but we’ve had a wave of new faces finding us lately (hello!) and with our new website around the corner, now felt like a good time to reintroduce ourselves.
This little video is a glimpse into who we are—and the heart of that is our community. Some of you know us through the Coffeehouse (thank you!), and for those who don’t, it’s played a big role in our journey.

Double flipping award winning 🥹 Creativity for Good AND Sound awards at @creativebath awards last night! This is turning into quite the flipping year… in reality it’s been 17 years of hard work, dreams, mistakes, lessons taught, but more lessons learnt, trust and belief in what’s right even if we get things wrong and a unwavering belief that through music and education we can make a difference whether small or large to someone’s life. Creativity is one of our most powerful gifts we have as humans and the joy it can bring and the good it can do we witness everyday! This meant a lot to all of us and we’re truly grateful for everyone’s support. Thankyou to everyone @creativebath for organising the event and @komedia_bath for hosting the event! ❤️

As we ramp up for MUWFEST this year and all the info will be hitting inboxes last week, this bad boy performance from the first time we used @Komedia_ bath 2 years ago seems like a good one to sum up the energy that's going to be needed for this year's event run up! Saturdays at MuW ☕
The coffee machine is on, the croissants from @pullinsbakery at the @bathfarmersmarketgreenpark are ready, (yes, you can grab one and come and eat it with your coffee at ours), and the studios are stirring just enough to feel alive without ruining your morning chat. Saturdays are a special day at the coffeehouse, whether that’s watching Buddy make hundreds of coffees whilst somehow still chatting to our wonderful regulars or seeing the Saturday lesson crews wander in with their families. A hectic slow day if there is such a thing!? Whether you’re stopping in for a coffee, dropping a kid off at a lesson, or staying for a slow hour, we genuinely appreciate you coming to our little home.

Open Mic on Thursday 21st | Jam Lab Season 28 takes the stage on Friday 22nd we have our very own @the.docklands performing @theforumbath as part of @westofenglandmusicandarts for @bathpartyinthecity Coffeehouse open through it all with Iced coffee and Matcha @perfecttedenergy as well as all the usual tunes and chats!

We’re devastated to share that late on Monday afternoon, Buddy & Helen had to say goodbye to our beloved Pat.
Pat’s health had been deteriorating, but she was able to spend her last few days happy, relaxing at home, doing her favourite things… sleeping and sunbathing.
She was a companion and friend to many of you, and family to us. She had a tough start to life before finding her inseparable soulmate in Bud, and with Helen they together found home and family. Never before has one dog been so loved by so many people. At this heartbreaking time Helen & Bud just want to thank all of you for giving her such a beautiful life, and to share a few of theirs and our favourite Patty moments.

This week, we took @halflife_official to play live.
As part of our Road to Stage project, they performed on the warm-up stage at bp pulse LIVE at the NEC in Birmingham.
Half Life are a fabulous young band out of Bath. They came to us already formed and desperate to play live gigs. They signed up to Road to Stage, which gives young bands a platform to rehearse for free and perform at our monthly open mic then graduate to real life gigs! They took their chance smashed it out the park.
So we gave them a shot at a bigger stage, a bigger venue, playing to thousands of people as well as getting to see @gorillaz perform!
They did not disappoint. They were a credit to themselves and made a big impression on those watching!
