of course i am very late for #twinpeaksday but i have been working on this quote piece on and off for a long time and figured i might as well share it while i’m thinking about it!! this is a quote from twin peaks the return (2017), and i did remove the s because i thought it would fit nicer, haha. it is still VERY MUCH a WIP but i hope to post the final soon! swipe for some older sketchier versions, too.

i am so proud of the piece i made for the LOVE show opening this friday! here are some very sneaky peeks at the process (without giving too much away about the final work). i put so much of myself into this, it is one of the most elaborate things i think i’ve ever made. a QUILT that is also a soft sculpture and collage, it would not exist without my mother and my grandmother, who taught me almost all of the techniques i used. i really hope you all come out to see it in person and experience love from my point of view. location tagged in the post so you don’t get lost on the way. scroll past the flier to see some extra goodies i have available for you and your valentine!!! 💕🥰 (DM for purchase)
hello, i’m still here i promise! and i have fun news! I’m participating in The Love Show at Spot Lite (in Detroit) opening Friday, February 13! This exhibition explores the many dimensions of LOVE including warmth, connection, and empathy while focusing on its positive energy as a source of light in uncertain times. it’s going to be a bit of a departure from my usual work — which i am really excited about!! i am sharing a few in progress things just for some attention LOL but the piece will NOT be digital so this is a rare opportunity to see my more detailed multimedia work!! come hang out and spread the LOVE!!!
was tinking about how i’ve been feeling recently,and what @colorwecrazy was saying about the recent new moon in scorpio (during mercury retrograde no less), and the statement STOP. GASLIGHTING. YOUR BODY. really resonated with me, so i doodled it! i wouldn’t say i have the best hand lettering in terms of readability and artfulness but it feels good to make art as a form of therapy, without worrying about it being good or “marketable” — i hope you all are taking care of yourselves!! sending love 💕 and sunshine ☀️
